Lori Kirsch
Hello Everyone!
Lori is a 500 hour yoga instructor, Thai yoga massage practitioner and owner of East Cincy Yoga. She graduated from Cincinnati Yoga School (CYS) 200 hour in April 2014 and 300 hour in October 2023. She found yoga (or rather, it found her) in fall 2012 and fell in love with it after trying videos at home. Lori knew this was something she had to learn more about and be a part of as much as possible. As soon as she graduated she created and opened East Cincy Yoga here on the East Side of town! She enjoys seeing others change physically, mentally, and emotionally through yoga and is happy she can be a guide to others on their journey. When not teaching, she is devoted to homeschooling her children and exploring nature. Lori's hope for the studio is that everyone recognizes it as a wellness and community center and that they feel at home as soon as they enter the building. She teaches a little of everything, but mainly restorative, beginning yoga, power yoga, full body fitness, morning flow as well as subbing in various classes. She can also be found giving Thai massages, acupressure foot massage, leading sound baths as well as leading various workshops and trainings. If you are in need of Thai yoga massage please find more info at eastcincyogaschool.com

Mindy Horgan
Mindy has dabbled in yoga for much of my adult life but began a more serious practice following a health problem in 2019. When the lockdown happened with Covid, yoga became my favorite thing to do, alone and with my teenagers, and a home practice was born. She signed up for Yoga Teacher Training at ECY and really fell in love with the endless learning and growing that comes with yoga, as well as the physical and philosophical aspects that she didn’t even realize existed. Mindy loves the fact that anyone can do yoga and benefit from it and that she can help in that journey as she continues on her own journey. Mindy is also a mom, a homeschool teacher, and is involved in her husband’s business and the community. She mainly teaches Beginning and Restorative yoga but you may see her sub for Slow Flow or LIIT Class from time to time.

Stephanie felt called to yoga many years ago but her journey into it didn’t begin until 2019. She wasn’t sure why she was feeling called on this journey but this leap of faith helped her to fill some gaps that led her to a better and more calm state of mind and overall sense of wholeness and wellness. She signed up for the 200 hour teacher training in 2020 and have been teaching yoga now since March of 2021.
Stephanie is also a certified health/life coach, reiki level 2 practitioner and have been deep diving into self improvement for over 20 years. She mainly teaches Gentle Yoga and subs in for Beginning. |

Kelly Brokamp
In June 2024, I graduated from the 200-HR ECY Yoga Teacher Training. I am also continuing my
education of all things yoga as I teach classes because the more I learn, the more I want to learn! My yoga journey began when I left a yoga class one day and realized how amazing I felt. It was not my first class, but the first class that it started to speak to me. As I continued taking yoga classes, I realized more and more the benefits in my mind, body and spirit. I started devouring anything that I could read and learn about yoga. This inspired me to take the Yoga Teacher Training at ECY, so I could share my love of yoga with others. Before starting the training, I intermittently had sciatica, neck pain, and my joints ached, the typical problems that come with aging, but after a few weeks into yoga training, it all went away. I believe as we age exercise becomes more critical and we have to work harder to keep moving, keep strengthening, and keep lengthening. I want to share the amazing benefits I have gained from yoga with others. I feel that movement of the body and stillness of the mind are the keys to the fountain of youth. I look forward to sharing this with others, meeting people where they are and holding space for them. I love all yoga, but I mostly teach Vinyasa Flow classes, Power and Slow Flow at this time. |
