Even the most advanced Yoga practitioner has much to learn within the reflective pace of Slow Vinyasa. Poses can be refined and strengthened, without feeling rushed into the next move, next breath, or next pose. Slow flowing Vinyasa is a wonderful practice in discovering one’s personal limitations and learning how to move past those limitations.

Deep Stretch Yin Yoga - 60-75 Minute Class
(Easy)
Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.
While initially this style of yoga can seem quite boring, passive, or soft, yin practice can be quite challenging due to the long duration of the poses. We can remain in the postures anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes! Yin and yang tissues respond quite differently to being exercised. You need to experience this to really know what Yin Yoga is all about. After you have experienced it, even just once, you will realize that you have been doing only half of the asana practice.
Rise and Restore - 60 Minute Class
(Beginner-Intermediate)
Find strength and recovery in one practice. Warm up, strengthen and align the entire body using a series of sun salutations and their variations. Exploring their fundamental movements as a calming, moving meditation at times. Then, ending our practice with 30 minutes of restorative yoga poses and guided meditation to allow the body and mind to recover, rejuvenate and rest. It's a perfect start OR end to your day.

Mindfulness Meditation - 60 Minute Class
(Easy)
Mindfulness Meditation on based in the Buddhist practice of observation of the breath & the body. We begin by practicing awareness of the breath and physical body and move closer to noticing thoughts and emotions as they arise. Experience what neuroscientists have discovered and what many yogis have known for years: a regular meditation practice actually changes the structures of the brain that relate to stress. No prior yoga or meditation experience is necessary. This class is Meditation based - not exercise yoga, no postures or special clothing required. During this class you can choose to sit freely or up against the wall, lay in Savasana or position yourself in any pose you find comfortable during the meditation. One of the most difficult things we can do in life is to be fully awake and fully present. Mindfulness is the practice of being aware and awake to the present moment.
Come as you are! All classes are suitable for beginners, masters and everyone in between. These classes offer modifications so that you can customize your class to fit your specific needs and level of expertise.
